Tale as old as time

Never in my entire life have I ever been obsessed with Disney princesses. A lot of small girls go through this phase. They want to BE Ariel, Belle, or Jasmine. I think I might have owned a Beauty and the Beast sleeping bag, but I can't be sure. I actually don't remember owning any Barbie dolls that were Disney princesses either. But this Halloween I brought out my inner princess, if you will.

Ander's mom made us the most amazing Beauty and the Beast costumes. Disney worthy, if you ask me. We went to a costume party and were a total hit! Especially Ander. He said he liked wearing the mask because he didn't have to smile or anything all night. Although he did have to take that mask off to eat and drink.

I took some pictures of all the other costumes that were there. There were some really great ones.

Mmm... not so much. Sorry Michael and Kristin.

Some lovely high schoolers. The high school party was going on upstairs. The pumpkin, Mary, is one of my Mia Maids.

Buddy and Tom. Loved their outfits.

Doug and Sue. She made those costumes. Love it even more.

Tracy was creepy because she had white contacts in. I think she was a zombie jockey. Just a hunch...

 We won best couples costumes.
 Four Waldos. FOUR!

Moses and Popeye hanging out. Moses was watching football.

Debbie and Tracy. I think I might want to be a pirate wench next year...

This costume is so freaking awesome

 And so is this one

See?!? White contacts! Creepy! I loved it though. Tracy is my Young Women's president. It was really odd to see her with those eyes.

It really was a lovely party, and we got so many compliments on our costumes. We actually ended up going to Wal-Mart after the party to get a few things, and we got some strange looks. Especially Ander. These two girls ran up to us and said, "Can we get a picture with you guys? You guys look so amazing!" So naturally, we obliged. So out there... somewhere... there is a random photo of us on someone's Facebook, probably captioned "Coolest costumes EVER. 2 cool guyz, srsly." or something of that nature. Maybe. Probably.
