First fillings

I have never EVER had a cavity in my entire life. Until two weeks ago. I went to the dentist and found out I had two TINY little cavities on the right side of my mouth. One on the top, and one on the bottom. Needless to say, I was TERRIFIED! The idea of getting a shot in my mouth made me want to die, but hey, what're ya gonna do? A cavity needs fixing right? So this morning I went in for my first fillings ever. It really wasn't so bad... the bottom was a little tender while being worked on, but it wasn't traumatizing. Anyway, why am I posting a blog about my first fillings? Funny you should ask...

An honest-to-goodness smile. I was really trying my hardest to lift those muscles.

I told Ander that I was secure enough with my looks that I was willing to post these pictures. I'm completely numb on the entire right side of my face. MY FACE. Not just my mouth. For three or so hours my face was literally crooked. Get a good laugh, everyone, because this is the ONLY time I will ever get fillings. I never want fillings again, so I'm going to be a good little girl and brush and floss and do all the things I should do so I don't have to go through this again. But they are some pretty funny pictures if I do say so myself...

I'd get Tangled with Flynn Rider

tangled-poster_380x562.jpg

I finally saw Tangled and I have to say I absolutely loved it! It was wonderful! For everyone out there who hasn't seen it, you just hop in your car and head on over to the dollar theater, BECAUSE IT'S THERE AND HOORAY FOR CHEAP MOVIE TICKETS! I loved everything about it, and am pleased to say that my manager, Martha, told me that I remind her of Rapunzel. I now know that that is definitely a good thing. How about that?

Rango.jpg

I also had the opportunity to see Rango over this last weekend and I have to say I was also delighted with it. It was so hilarious, and not to mention the animation is to die for. Two great animated films in one week!

Best ever

This made me extremely happy :)

All of my Halo has NOT helped my laser tag skills

Yes, it's true. Not one ounce of my Halo skills has rolled over into laser tag. I came in LAST place at YW's the other night against all the girls. How lame is that?! I'll tell you what did help though... my exercising. I was able to duck around corners and dodge people all over the place because of the strengthening in my legs from my cardio every day. But still... all that Halo and all that cardio didn't make me win...

Two lovely ladies, Sarah and Madelynn
This is Becky and Naomi. Naomi is one of my Mia Maids and she is an absolute doll. She's a ham just like me.
Jocelynn and Naomi. Ham, anyone?
Jordan here on the left is 13 going on 19, (like, totally!) and Korynn is the most genuine girl you'll ever meet. Jordan is into chick flicks and fashion, while Korynn is into gummi bears, giraffes, and reading. What a pair, huh? It was awesome, they totally formed an alliance against the rest of us.... little buggers.
Madelynn, Mary, and Madison. Yes, we have a Laurel named Madelynn Smith and a Beehive named Madison Smith. To answer your questions, I get them mixed up all the time.
It never stops... the ham, I mean.
Ah, my Young Women posse:
back row: Jordan (blue t-shirt) Becki, Madelynn, Madison, Sarah, and Sister Scott
front row: Naomi, Korynn, Jocelynn, Jordan, Mary, Sister Graff, and yours truly

We had such a great time! (Other than the fact I lost, but it was still fun) Honestly, one of the best Young Women's activities I've ever been to. Good times!

Ta-dah!

1500 pieces, and I finished it!!! It's a great feeling to finish a big puzzle like that. Buuuut, my sweet dog decided to eat two of the pieces that happened to fall on the floor. I was so angry... I really wanted to puzzle save this puzzle and hang it on my wall, but May-May saw to it that that didn't happen. So frustrating. Either way though, I finished it.

Birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas presents

Ander gave me a great birthday present this year... WE WENT TO THE BLUE MAN GROUP!!!

Downtown Austin reminds me of Gotham city... always has, always will
Not too shabby, we sat in the first balcony so we were able to see everything
S.T.O.K.E.D.

The Blue Man Group was amazing, as always. I've seen them five times now, and this time was Ander's first. He loved it!

Wonderful birthday present, just what we both needed. Fantastic!

True love

"Of course sweetie"
